Having honed her skills during a transformative four-year tenure at KKM, Dr. Zarina’s passion for nurturing life’s beginnings led her to embrace a new role as a Senior Medical Lecturer at USIM. Her pursuit of excellence took her even further, as she obtained a Masters in Anatomy, enriching her understanding of the intricate human form.
However, it was her deep-seated belief in the power of Mother-Friendly Care Birth, Breastfeeding, and Early Parenting Skills that truly set her on a transformative path. Driven by this vision, she embarked on a journey to become a certified Hypnobirthing & Dunstan Baby Language Educator, and an adept Infant Massage Instructor – all in the pursuit of providing comprehensive care to both mothers and their precious little ones.
In 2021, Dr. Zarina achieved another milestone by earning her certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (USA). This specialization equips her to skillfully navigate complex breastfeeding cases, offering support to challenges such as Tongue Tie (Ankyloglossia), premature babies, nipple confusion & breast refusal, and even adoptive breastfeeding.
Dr. Zarina’s commitment to the well-being of mothers and babies extends beyond the clinic’s walls. She has played a pivotal role in helping almost 100 women in Induced Lactation. Dr. Zarina is also actively involved in the Pelaksanaan Garis Panduan Cetusan Laktasi dan Penyusuan Semula Malaysia with Pusat Laktasi Kebangsaan (National Lactation Center; NLC), contributing to the advancement of breastfeeding support in Malaysia.

Puan Nur Intan Syafinaz Hanifah

Puan Nur Intan Syafinaz holds a Bachelor of Food Science & Technology and brings a wealth of diverse experience to her role. She has worked as a Halal Executive in a Halal Consultant Company, served as a Food Technologist in a Noodles Manufacturing Company, and spent six years as a Training Executive, with her last employment being at Pizza Hut Malaysia until 2022.
Her journey into breastfeeding advocacy began serendipitously when she met Dr. Nurzarina at a breastfeeding session. Inspired by the experience, she pursued further education through courses at the National Lactation Centre, ultimately becoming a certified Breastfeeding Peer Counsellor. Recently, Puan Nur Intan has also expanded her skills to become a Lactation Massage Therapist, further enhancing her ability to support breastfeeding mothers.
As a mother who has successfully breastfed her two children for two years each, Puan Nur Intan understands the challenges that come with breastfeeding without proper knowledge, mindset, and support. Her passion lies in helping more mothers navigate these challenges, ensuring they can experience the numerous health benefits that breastfeeding offers both mothers and their babies.

Puan Ain is a dedicated professional who has been an integral part of our clinic for many years. She began her journey as a clinic assistant from 2020 to 2021 and advanced to the role of clinic manager in January 2022. As a mother of three who has successfully breastfed her own children, Puan Ain brings personal experience and empathy to her role.
In February 2024, she expanded her expertise by completing a 20-hour course to become a certified Breastfeeding Counsellor. Additionally, she is now a skilled Lactation Massage Therapist. Her unwavering dedication and hard work have significantly enhanced her ability to support and guide mothers through their breastfeeding journeys.
Puan Ain’s extensive experience at the clinic has not only honed her professional skills but also deepened her commitment to helping others. She is passionate about empowering mothers with the knowledge and support they need for successful breastfeeding.
Dr. Ning Desiyanti Soehartojo

Dr. Ning Desiyanti, a dedicated medical practitioner since 2001, embarked on her journey into breastfeeding medicine and lactation following a rewarding 6-year tenure as a Pediatric Medical Officer. During this pivotal period, she collaborated closely with the Special Care Nursery & NICU team, lending her expertise to guide and support mothers in their pursuit of initiating and nurturing breastfeeding for their precious newborns.
In 2009, Dr. Ning achieved the prestigious International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification, marking a significant milestone in her commitment to breastfeeding advocacy. Her unwavering dedication extends beyond hospital settings, focusing on empowering breastfeeding mothers in their unique journeys. Additionally, she is a Certified H.U.G teacher, offering invaluable Help, Understanding, and anticipatory Guidance to young families as they navigate the normal behaviors and development of their babies.
Dr. Ning’s approach is rooted in practical assistance, emotional support, and personalized care tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of both mother and child. Her services encompass in-clinic consultations, home visits, and informative classes designed to illuminate the path of young families in their breastfeeding and parenting odyssey. To this day, she remains an active member and dedicated trainer within the Malaysian Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Association, steadfast in her mission to enhance the well-being of mothers and their little ones.
